Olathe ? The Lawrence High softball team continued to struggle, dropping a doubleheader to Olathe North on Thursday, 4-1 and 3-0. The Lions now are 6-6 after a 5-0 start.

Dequesne Sprow took the loss in game one as LHS allowed seven hits. They had five hits, but brought just one runner home on a single from Amanda Weishaar, who was 2-for-3 for the game.

The Lions managed five more hits in the second game, including two by Lauren Kelly, who was 2-for-3. Mariah Riling took the loss.

The Lions will play host Tuesday to Free State.
