After answering an early Blue Valley goal, the Lawrence High girls soccer team didn’t get to see how it would fare in the second half of Monday night’s game at the Youth Sports Inc. fields.

Lightning led to a 20-minute weather delay at halftime, and moments later, heavy thunderstorms ended any hopes of a restart. The early finish is officially counted as a 1-1 tie.

Senior Raya Bowden had the goal for the Lions.

LHS will play at 7 tonight at Shawnee Mission North.
