Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence Police arrested a 22-year-old Topeka man on suspicion of pulling a handgun on a 21-year-old Overland Park man in a fight around midnight Saturday in the parking lot of Abe and Jake’s Landing, 8 E. Sixth St. The two had been involved in an argument inside the bar.

Police said the Overland Park man’s gold teeth fell out during a scuffle in the parking lot, and an acquaintance of the suspect picked the teeth up from the ground. The suspect and others then left the scene in a vehicle that officers stopped in the parking lot of Borders, 700 N.H. Police found the suspect – identified as Rashaun K. Tubbs – and arrested him for aggravated assault. They also recovered a 9 mm pistol and the gold teeth from the vehicle.

¢ A 21-year-old Perry man told police he was robbed of $112 about 3 a.m. Sunday in the parking lot of Perkins, 1711 W. 23rd St. He said he had gone to the restaurant to meet a woman from Topeka. When he got there, an unidentified man approached him, threatened him with a knife, demanded his money and told him not to have any more interaction with the woman, he told police.

¢ A 30-year-old Lawrence man told police he was threatened with a knife by an acquaintance between 12:30 a.m. and 12:40 a.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of Powers Street.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 67-year-old Lawrence man reported that his 1992 Mazda 626 was stolen between 10:40 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday from the 1000 block of East 25th Terrace, according to a report.

¢ A 16-year-old boy reported a radar detector, compact discs and other items valued at $1,795 total stolen between 1:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Thursday from a home in the 400 block of North Street.

¢ A city signpost and sign valued at $150 total were stolen about 2 a.m. Sunday from 13th and Vermont streets.
