An unknown burglar broke into a concession stand at Holcom Park Sports Complex, 2601 W. 25th St., and stole about $450 worth of candy and snacks.

The theft happened sometime between midnight Thursday and noon Friday. Police said it appeared the burglar pried open the metal door covering the front of the stand, causing about $1,000 in damage.
