Lauren Kelly and Laura Wilson teamed for the only Lawrence High victory in an 8-1 tennis loss Thursday to Blue Valley Northwest at the Lawrence Tennis Center.

“The highlight was unquestionably the win by Laura and Lauren,” LHS coach Dick Wedel said. “They focused well on the match, played a point at a time, took care of the ball : all the things you need to do to be successful in tennis. As trite as it sounds, it is all about basics.”
