Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence Police are investigating a possible rape earlier this month of two Kansas City-area women.

The women, ages 18 and 21, told police they think they might have been raped between 2 and 4 a.m. Oct. 16 while visiting Lawrence but were not certain. Police say alcohol may have been a factor in the incident.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ Police are investigating a report that someone stole $1,860 cash and tickets to 17 upcoming concerts from The Bottleneck, 737 N.H. St.

The theft was discovered Saturday morning by an employee and is believed to have happened sometime early that morning. There were no immediate signs of forced entry, police said.

¢ Someone stole $1,681 worth of tools belonging to Aftermarket Unlimited, 1219 E. 23rd St. The items disappeared between 6 p.m. Thursday and 6:10 a.m. Friday, according to a report.
