Injury Accident
¢ A Perry woman was injured Thursday morning in a one-car accident on U.S. Highway 24 near Perry.
Elizabeth A. Scott, 24, was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital, where a hospital official said she was treated and released.
Scott lost control of her 2000 Mitsubishi at 10:30 a.m. as she was traveling eastbound about two miles west of the U.S. Highway 59 junction. The car went into the south ditch and struck a bridge marker sign, according to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol. The car stopped in a field.
Scott wore a seat belt. Her passenger, 1-year-old Roman S. Allison, of Perry, was not injured.
