‘Postcards from Asia’ to begin on KPR
The Kansas Public Radio audience will soon be able to travel to east Asia without leaving their radio.
A new series titled “Postcards from Asia,” a collaboration between KPR, 91.5 FM, and Kansas University’s Center for East Asian Studies, starts this week. The 60-second programs will air at 9:59 p.m. Wednesdays and 1:04 p.m. Saturdays.
Bill Tsutsui, KU associate professor of history, will be the voice for “Postcards from Asia,” which will deliver concise glimpses of Korean, Japanese and Chinese culture.
