Injury accidents
¢ Three Ozawkie teens suffered injuries Monday evening in a one-vehicle rollover wreck on Kansas Highway 4.
Cole D. Buckman, 14, was driving south on K-4 trying to pass another southbound vehicle in his 2002 Ford truck when his vehicle went off the left side of the road and overturned.
He and two passengers, Jared Frye, 14, and Tanner Crawford, 14, were taken to Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center in Topeka, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
Buckman and Crawford were treated and released. Hospital officials said they had no record of treating Frye.
Burglaries and thefts reported
¢ A 76-year-old Lawrence man reported his Nissan Quest van and other items including a snowblower and weed eater stolen from the garage of his home around 11 p.m. Nov. 6. The thieves broke a window to get into his garage in the 300 block of Homestead Drive, loaded the items into the vehicle and drove it away. The items were later recovered after police found the stolen van in the Kansas City area.
