Lawrence Police said Thursday that in the past 24 hours they handled:

¢ 202 calls

¢ 30 reports

¢ one burglary

¢ four thefts

¢ 13 noninjury accidents

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ The value of equipment stolen during the weekend from a studio inside Memorial Stadium has been estimated at $22,547.

The theft happened between 6:50 p.m. and 9:20 p.m. Saturday in a third-floor studio inside the stadium used to film Kansas University football coach Mark Mangino’s weekly television show.

The case remains under investigation.

Injury accidents

¢ One woman was taken by ambulance to Lawrence Memorial Hospital Thursday after a two-vehicle wreck at the intersection of Kansas Highway 10 and Noria Road just east of the city limits.

The wreck happened about 2:15 p.m. Lt. Kari Wempe, a Douglas County Sheriff’s spokeswoman, said one of the vehicles was eastbound and trying to turn north onto Noria Road when it collided with a westbound vehicle. No further details were available Thursday.
