Boise, Idaho ? Former Kansas University center Eric Chenowith has signed to play for the Idaho Stampede of the Continental Basketball Association.

Chenowith, who was tapped in the second round of the 2001 NBA Draft by the New York Knicks, most recently was cut in NBA training camp by the Denver Nuggets.

Chenowith completed his career at Kansas as the second all-time leading shot blocker with 242. He averaged 9.2 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.

He has also played with the NBDL’s Roanoke (Va.) Dazzle, Greenville (S.C.) Groove and Huntsville (Ala.) Flight.
