Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence Police late Tuesday night were investigating a possible attempted robbery at the McDonald’s restaurant at 3241 Iowa. Although details weren’t available, police received a report of a man armed with a handgun trying to rob the restaurant at the drive-through window. The suspect, who was on foot, ran from the area. It was not clear whether any money was taken.
