Lawrence Police said Tuesday that in the past 24 hours they handled:

¢ 258 calls

¢ 30 reports

¢ three burglaries

¢ four thefts

¢ three noninjury accidents

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 23-year-old Kansas University student reported his $3,500 Yamaha motorcycle stolen between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 8:45 a.m. Monday from the 2400 block of West 25th Street.

¢ A Dell desktop computer and a battery pack valued at a total of $1,100 disappeared between 5 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday from the 500 block of East Eighth Street. The items belonged to ITB Corp.

¢ A suspect passed three fraudulent money orders for $950 each at Quik Cash, 1401 W. Sixth St. The crimes happened in January but weren’t reported until this month.
