Testimony continues in Miller trial

Testimony resumes today in the first degree murder trial of Martin Miller — the former Christian school board member — accused of killing his wife.

Prosecutors presented autopsy photos this morning in district court.

Douglas County coroner Erik Mitchell testified that hemorrages found in the victim’s eyes and neck muscles indicate that she had been strangled.

Mary Miller was found dead in her bed by her husband on July 28, 2004.

Police originally believed she died of natural causes.

Her husband was arrested 2 days later and charged with her murder.
