Law enforcement report
- A 29-year-old Lawrence woman told police an acquaintance stabbed her in the arm during a fight Sunday morning at the Crosstown Tavern, 1910 Haskell Ave. Police have not yet located the suspect, a 32-year-old Lawrence woman.
- Police arrested a 26-year-old Lawrence man early Saturday on suspicion of threatening his girlfriend with a screwdriver and holding her in a bedroom against her will. The incident happened in the 2000 block of East 19th Street.
Burglaries and thefts reported
- An 18-year-old Lawrence man reported $4,300 in property, including compact discs, an amplifier and a compact-disc player, taken from his vehicle between 12:05 a.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday in the 500 block of Kasold Drive.
- Someone took items including cell phones, a pool cue, a VCR and a Sony PlayStation from a home in the 1300 block of New Jersey Street. The burglary happened between 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Friday. Total loss was $2,431.
- A 31-year-old Lawrence man reported $3,000 in vandalism to his 1997 Honda VFR Motorcycle. It happened between 6 p.m. Saturday and 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
