Condition updates

¢ Lawrence resident John Knackstedt Jr., who was flown to University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kan., after a deadly wreck Thursday at Sixth and Kentucky Streets, has been released from the hospital. Another man injured in the wreck, John Sewell, of Lee's Summit, Mo., has been released from Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

The cause of the wreck, which killed 44-year-old Wade Collins, of Lawrence, remained under investigation Friday.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 24-year-old Lawrence man reported $6,245 in property, including gold necklaces, a Sony PlayStation 2, and two watches, stolen Nov. 29 from his home in the 3500 block of West 22nd Street.

¢ A 40-year-old Lawrence man reported his 1988 Cadillac stolen at 6:20 a.m. Thursday outside his home in the 2900 block of Yellowstone Drive. He valued the car at $3,650.
