KU football team lands two more commitments

Kansas University has picked up two more football commitments.

The Jayhawks landed offensive tackle Carl Wilson, a 6-foot-4, 275-pounder from Redlands, Calif.’s East Valley High. Rivals.com reports he chose KU over Colorado, Wyoming, UTEP and others.

KU also Monday landed Marc Jones, a 6-4, 240-pound tight end from Kilgore College in Texas. He chose KU over Michigan State and Mississippi. As a high school senior in Norfolk, Va., he took recruiting trips to East Carolina, North Carolina State and Maryland. He signed with East Carolina but went the junior-college route.

KU now has 19 commitments.
