Law enforcement report

Lawrence Police said Friday that in the past 24 hours they handled:

¢ 176 calls

¢ 27 reports

¢ two burglaries

¢ one theft

¢ seven noninjury accidents

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 1996 Jeep Cherokee valued at $6,500 was stolen between 1:10 a.m. and 7:05 a.m. Wednesday from Lot 33 on the Kansas University campus.

¢ A 20-year-old Leawood man reported items including a $400 car stereo and $600 in compact discs stolen between Dec. 4 and Dec. 5 from his vehicle in the 500 block of Louisiana Street.

Emergency calls

Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical reported the following responses:

¢ Carbon monoxide incident, 10:09 p.m. Thursday, 401 Frontier Road.

¢ Building fire, 12:22 p.m. Thursday, 1113 Natalie Drive.

¢ Dispatched fire incident, canceled, 8:25 a.m. Thursday, 120 E. Ninth St.

¢ Alarm sounded, no fire, unintentional, 1:53 a.m. Thursday, 1575 Irving Hill Road.
