Injury Accidents

¢ Lawrence Police and Douglas County Fire & Medical responded to a three-car accident late Saturday night at the intersection of 23rd and Tennessee streets.

Medical workers transported one person with injuries to Lawrence Memorial Hospital after a car hit another vehicle from behind at a red light, causing that vehicle to hit the car in front of it.

The driver of the car, Denna Ceottrell, 23, was cited for several violations, including operating a vehicle under the influence, driving without a license and driving without insurance, police said.
