Lawrence Police said Wednesday that in the past 24 hours they handled:

¢ nine noninjury accidents

Burglaries and thefts reported
¢ A group of Kansas University students living in the 900 block of Indiana Street reported more than $7,000 in property stolen from their apartment during the Thanksgiving weekend. Items taken included computers and video game equipment. The theft happened between 3 p.m. Nov. 23 and 6 p.m. Sunday.
¢ A 26-year-old Lawrence man reported his 1993 Honda Civic worth $3,000 stolen between midnight and 8:30 a.m. Monday from the 2300 block of Iowa Street.
