¢ Because of returns from Nevada and Western Illinois, 200 tickets are available for each of the next two games - today versus Nevada and Saturday against Western Illinois. Tickets are $40 each and are available via kuathletics.com or by calling 1-800-34-HAWKS.

¢ The University of Nevada has an enrollment of 16,500, and its nickname is Wolf Pack. School colors are Navy and Silver.

¢ KU leads the series, 4-1, after last year's 85-52 victory at Allen Fieldhouse. Three of the five meetings have been in Reno, including Nevada's 75-61 victory on Dec. 21, 2003.

¢ Of last year's game at KU, junior Nick Fazekas told the Reno Gazette-Journal: "I wouldn't say it was painful. It was kind of embarrassing. We should have given them so much more of a game. I'm not going to call it revenge," Fazekas added of tonight's rematch. "There's not revenge for me or any of us on this team. It's about the game. It's about winning. Hopefully, we will go out and not be intimidated."

¢ KU is 51-11 against current members of the Western Athletic Conference.

¢ KU is 6-8 against ranked teams under Bill Self.

¢ Self is trying for his 50th victory as KU coach. He has a three-year record of 49-18.

¢ Nevada's 77-62 victory Nov. 23 at Vermont snapped the Catamounts' 14-game homecourt win steak.

¢ Nevada has won 12 straight road games, counting Saturday's victory at UNLV.

¢ Sophomore Marcelus Kemp missed all of last season because of a torn ACL. The 6-9, 210-pound guard has come off the bench to net 21.0 ppg. He scored 24 in victories at Vermont and UNLV.
