Cynthia Teel is the final recipient of a $5,000 Kansas University Kemper Award for excellence in teaching and advising. She is an associate professor in the School of Nursing.
Twenty faculty received Kemper Awards this year, and a total of $100,000 was distributed.
The W.T. Kemper Fellowships for Teaching Excellence were established by a $500,000 fund from the William T. Kemper Foundation-Commerce Bank, Trustee, and $500,000 in matching funds from the KU Endowment Association.
