This year's "Women of Distinction" calendar was formally unveiled Monday during a reception at the Kansas Union.

The 2005-06 calendar highlights the accomplishments of female faculty, staff, alumni and students of Kansas University.

Pictured above, from left, Ruth Anne French-Hodson, a KU political science graduate, and Delia Kimbrel, a Wichita senior, discuss the calendar. French-Hodson, a recent Rhodes Scholar, is one of 15 current KU students featured in the calendar, along with Marynell Jones, student body vice-president.

The free calendars are available at KU Bookstores on the Lawrence and Edwards campuses and at the Student Involvement and Leadership Center in the Kansas Union.

This is the third year the calendar has been organized by the Emily Taylor Women's Resource Center.
