Lawrence Police said Thursday that in the past 24 hours they handled:

¢ A 54-year-old Lawrence woman told police she saw an unidentified man looking into her bedroom window about 11:20 p.m. Tuesday in east Lawrence. She said he was Caucasian and between 25 and 30 years old with dark, curly hair pulled into a pony tail.
¢ A Baker University maintenance worker received a third-degree burn on his right hand after an electric shock about 3:45 p.m. Thursday while working with wires on a drop ceiling, said Baldwin Police Chief Mike McKenna. The employee was life-flighted to the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kan., to be treated for the burn, but the injury was not life-threatening, McKenna said. Authorities did not release the man’s name Thursday.
Burglaries and thefts reported
¢ A woman in the 2600 block of Cranley Drive reported to police Wednesday that someone had stolen her 1995 turquoise Saturn car about 5 a.m. Wednesday. The car was valued at $1,200.
