Offices extend hours for returning students

Several Kansas University offices will extend their hours for part of next week to assist students returning for the fall semester.

Hours for those offices will be 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Participating offices and their locations are the Academic Achievement and Access Center, 22 Strong Hall; Bursar’s Office, 20 Carruth-O’Leary; College of Liberal Arts and Sciences student academic services, 109 Strong Hall; Computing Help Desk, 864-0200; dean of students, 113 Strong Hall; department of student housing, Corbin Hall; Freshman-Sophomore Advising Center, 126 Strong Hall; new student orientation, 213 Strong Hall; Office of Admissions and Scholarships, KU Visitor Center; Office of Student Financial Aid, 50 Strong Hall; Office of Multicultural Affairs, 145 Strong Hall; Office of the University Registrar, 121 Strong Hall; Office of the Vice Provost for Student Success, 133 Strong Hall; and the Parking Department, Allen Fieldhouse parking garage.

Also, campus phone operators will answer phones from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 864-2700.

The fall semester opens Aug. 18.
