Lawrence Police said Wednesday that in the past 24 hours they handled:

¢ 32 reports

¢ two burglaries

¢ one theft

¢ four non-injury accidents

¢ one injury accident

¢ Police arrested a 51-year-old Lawrence man Tuesday afternoon on suspicion of pulling a pocket knife on a 45-year-old acquaintance after a dispute outside the Lawrence Interdenominational Nutrition Kitchen, 221 W. 10th St. The incident happened at about 1:10 p.m. Tuesday, according to a report.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ Police are investigating how $3,050 disappeared from an elderly woman’s bank account in the months before she died. The woman died during the weekend, and her 34-year-old daughter reported the money missing after reviewing her mother’s financial records.

The daughter told police it would have been unlikely her mother withdrew the money herself because of her mental and physical condition.
