Two people from Lawrence injured in a rollover accident Wednesday on Kansas Highway 10 remain hospitalized today at Kansas City hospitals.

The driver, 22-year-old Havah Jazaieri, was listed late this morning in good condition at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.

One passenger, 25-year-old Hagar Jazaieri, is in fair condition at St. Luke’s.

The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. about a mile west of Eudora.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says the Eudora police department had one lane of the highway shut down for the fire department to extinguish a nearby grass fire.

The driver of the vehicle swerved to avoid traffic backed up at the site, overcorrected and lost control.

Two children in the vehicle were not seriously injured.
