LHS soccer falls, 4-0

Lenexa — Shawnee Mission Northwest blanked Lawrence High, 4-0, in boys soccer on Tuesday night. The Cougars scored off two corner kicks and a penalty kick, while the Lions misfired 14 times. Colin Flanders had eight saves for LHS. Dustin Billings, Pharouk Hussein, Daniel Miranda and Adam Renfro were cited for outstanding play.

LHS tennis wins, 8-4

Prairie Village — Lawrence High’s top four tennis players — Amy Bullerman, Lauren Kelly, Cara Breeden and Shannon Wanna — all won in both singles and doubles as the Lions doubled up Shawnee Mission East, 8-4.
