A public memorial service for former Kansas University Chancellor W. Clarke Wescoe will be at 4 p.m. today at the Spencer Museum of Art.
Wescoe died Feb. 29 in Kansas City, Kan., at age 83.
The service will be in the museum's central courtyard, with overflow in the auditorium. The university suggests attendees park in the Mississippi Street parking garage.
A reception will follow at Adams Alumni Center, where there will be a display of materials from Wescoe's tenure as chancellor, 1960-1969.
The family suggests memorials be sent to the KU Endowment Association.
