Law enforcement report

  • South Junior High School filed a police report regarding a break-in sometime between Nov. 24 and Monday during the school district’s fall recess. The doors to two portable classroom units were damaged, a computer monitor was broken, and several calculators were missing. Lawrence Police are investigating.

Burglaries and thefts reported

  • Four roommates living in the 1300 block of Kentucky Street told police someone broke a window to their home and stole a $2,800 Dell Inspiron laptop computer. The theft happened between 10 a.m. Nov. 25 and 3 p.m. Saturday.
