KU Today, the Journal-World’s annual KU edition, is your guide to the university.
The sections are:
- KU Today. Find survival tips for the first year, a list of Hawk Week events and the new meal plan for KU students.
- Faces to Know. Get a glimpse of Chancellor Robert Hemenway’s optimism heading into his 10th year at KU and the goals of student body president Steve Munch.
- Spaces & Places. Check out what it takes to maintain the lush landscape and campus sites. The section also features a comprehensive campus map and a guide to city bike routes.
- Real Life. KU upperclassmen say getting involved on campus shaped their college career.
- Style. In the B section, you will find the latest in campus fashion, including clothes, tattoos and piercings.
- Sports. In the C section, the KU men’s basketball team has high hopes again, returning four seniors from an Elite Eight squad. The football team plans to build on last year’s bowl appearance, and Bonnie Henrickson enters her first year as the KU women’s basketball coach. The section includes previews of all KU varsity programs.
