KU dean profiled in Ebony magazine
A Kansas University dean is featured in the March 2003 edition of Ebony magazine.
Toni-Marie Montgomery, dean of KU’s School of Fine Arts, is included in the story “Sisters in the Spotlight: Nine special women who are making news, making history and making their own statements.”
Montgomery is featured in a full-page profile that credits her with making history as the first African-American dean at KU and at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill.
Montgomery has been appointed dean of the Northwestern’s School of Music effective July 1.
