LHS soccer falls in double overtime

Leavenworth — Lawrence High's girls soccer squad pushed Leavenworth to double overtime before eventually falling, 1-0, Thursday.

LHS coach Keith Nelson cited the good play of Megan Johnson, Aly Barland, Nicolette Weil and Lindsay Garito.

The Lions (0-4) will play Topeka Seaman at 7 tonight at the Youth Sports Inc. fields.
