Law enforcement report

Burglaries and thefts reported

Several DVDs and other items were taken sometime between 4 a.m. and 7 a.m. Sunday from a residence in the 1500 block of Willow Cove, according to a Lawrence Police report. A 30-year-old woman reported the burglary. Police said someone entered the residence through a window. Damage and losses were listed at $2,960.

A custom-built, soft-tail motorcycle was taken sometime Saturday afternoon from the city parking lot in the 800 block of Vermont Street. A 46-year-old St. Marys woman called police to report the theft. The motorcycle was valued at $24,000.

Douglas County Sheriff's officers are investigating a burglary at a residence in the 500 section of East 150 Road. A door frame was damaged in the break-in. Taken were a digital camera, a generator, jewelry and stereo equipment. Damage and losses totaled $3,210. The house is owned by a 75-year-old Overbrook man.

Condition reports

Joshua I. Walton, 20, Olathe, was in serious condition Monday at KU Med. He was injured Oct. 8 when his car collided head-on with a tractor-trailer on Kansas Highway 10 west of Eudora.
