Kansas City ? Randy Conroy and Chad Roesler of Lawrence finished second by three strokes Wednesday as the KGA Mid-Amateur Team golf championship concluded Wednesday at Kansas City Country Club.

Conroy and Roesler shot 62-73-65200 to finish behind former KU golfer Alan Stearns and Jason Seeman, both of Overland Park, who shot 197.

Chris Hutchens of Lawrence and Dane Ogden of Overland Park combined to shoot 204 and share sixth place with Mike Grosdidier of Baldwin and Gary Lucas of Topeka.

Other local scores were Tom Rainbolt of Lawrence and David Conderman of Olathe (207); Dick Stuntz and Doug Wilson (210); Michael Rack of Lawrence and Craig Raybuck of Overland Park (211); and Lawrence’s Curt Wright and John Aykroyd of Overland Park (217).
