The game: On a team that predicates itself on running the ball, Lawrence is one of the best weapons when the Lions do throw the ball. He leads LHS in receptions with 10, but he has started to become a force on defense, too. The junior had three of the Lions’ five sacks in last Friday’s 40-21 win against Blue Valley North.

Comment: “He has played really well all year,” LHS coach Dirk Wedd said. “Josh has done a really good job blocking and he’s our No. 1 receiver. He’s got great hands, the best hands on the team. He’s made some unbelievable catches.”
