PRAIRIE VILLAGE ? Lawrence High sophomore Nathaniel Spencer shot a 2-over-par 74 to win the season-opening Shawnee Mission South Invitational boys golf tournament on Monday at Meadowbrook.

The Lions finished fourth with 331 strokes. Defending state champion Shawnee Mission East won with 320 strokes.
