Ashley and Clint Hornberger

Ashley Helms and Clint Hornberger, both of Baldwin City, were married July 11, 2009, at Worden United Methodist Church in Baldwin City, with the Rev. Mary Lou Klein officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Becky Helms, and Deanna McGie-Helms, all of Iola.
The groom is the son of Chip and Jan Hornberger, Baldwin City.
Maids of honor were Emily Pargman and Kara Rexwinkle. Best man was Donnie Hornberger. Bridesmaids were Mindy Aronson, Shanda Mattix and Megan Tegtmeier. Groomsmen were Ted Jehle, Orion Kinkaid, Caleb Mattix and Mark Jehle. Ringbearer was Caleb Johnson. Flower girls were Mia Aronson and Ridley Liu. Ushers were Tripp Helms, Bryan Armendariz and Loren Baldwin. Candlelighters were Sara Roop and Miranda Brown. Personal attendants were Kate Schmitz and Deidra Johnson. Soloist was Richard Helms, father of the bride. Reader was Tripp Helms. Accompanist was Jonathan Liu. Guest book attendants and greeters were Kelsey McGie and Kayla Pringle. Wedding cakes were made by Jan Hornberger, the groom’s mother.
A reception was given in a barn at C-Ho Farms, the groom’s family farm outside Baldwin City.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Iola High School, and earned a bachelor’s degree in agronomy from Kansas State University in 2007. She is a crop service specialist at Great American Insurance in Lawrence and is also an independent beauty consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Baldwin High School. He attended K-State and is the owner/operator of C-Ho Farms.
The couple reside in Baldwin City.

Stacey and Vernon Kehoe Jr.

Stacey McLeod, Overland Park, and Vernon Kehoe Jr., Lawrence, were married Nov. 21, 2009, at Danforth Chapel at Kansas University, with the Rev. Christopher Hess officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mary McLeod, Lenexa.
The groom is the son of Vernon Kehoe Sr., Seattle, and Linda Kehoe, Satanta.
Maid of honor was Jennifer Uhart. Best man was Rayan Derekhshandegan. Bridesmaids were Amy Allen, Amanda Miller and Lauren Miller. Groomsmen were Ray Shapley, Steve Arneson and Matt Uhart. Junior groomsman was Mason Kehoe. Tim Lindsey escorted bride down the aisle.
A reception was given at The Marriott in Overland Park.
The bride is a graduate of Shawnee Mission Northwest High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in English from KU. She is a resource manager for Allied Global Services in Lenexa.
The groom is a graduate of Lawrence High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from KU. He is an applications engineer for Fisher/Unitech in Lenexa.
The couple reside in Lawrence.

The future bride is a 2001 graduate of Lawrence High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill., and a master’s degree from Loyola University in Chicago. She is currently a third-year medical student at Kansas University School of Medicine, Kansas City, Kan.
The future groom is a 1999 graduate of Free State High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree and Master of Business Administration degree, both from KU. He is a digital producer in the advertising and marketing industry.
The couple plan a May 2010 wedding in Kansas City, Mo.

The future groom is the son of Carl and Tina Spurgeon, Greeley, Colo. He is a 2000 graduate of Northglenn (Colo.) High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from Emporia State University in 2006. He is also pursuing a MBA degree from University of Phoenix and is a math teacher at Lawrence High School.
The couple plan a May 29, 2010, wedding in Parkville, Mo.

The future bride graduated from Free State High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with an emphasis in accounting, from the University of Louisville, where she is a graduate assistant, and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree.
The future groom is the son of Vasile and Felicia Teudean, Baia Mare, Romania. He graduated from Vasile Lucaciu High School in Romania. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with an emphasis in finance, from the University of Louisville, where he is pursuing an entrepreneurship MBA degree. He is also a swim coach for Cardinal Aquatics.
The couple plan a Sept. 11, 2010, wedding in Louisville.

He is a graduate of Norfolk Senior High and earned a bachelor’s degree from University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a master’s degree from Wayne State University. He is a physician’s assistant at Midwest Orthopaedics in Shawnee Mission.

The bride is the daughter of Herbert and Wilma Hoover, Hays.
The groom is the son of Geraldine Metz, Overland Park, and the late Charles Metz.
Amy Whiteside, daughter of the groom, and William Metz, son of the groom, were witnesses.
A reception dinner was given on Nov. 6 in Lawrence; a reception lunch was given on Nov. 7 at Rooftops Restaurant in Hays.
The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Fort Hays State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Washburn University. She is a homemaker.
The groom earned an education degree from Buena Vista College in Storm Lake, Iowa. He is a mail carrier with the U.S. Postal Service.

The groom is the son of Herman LeRoux and Marjorie Cleek-LeRoux, Lawrence.
Maid of honor was Susie LeRoux, the groom’s daughter-in-law. Best man was Philip LeRoux, the groom’s son.
The bride is a graduate of Oskaloosa High School, and the groom is a graduate of Lawrence High School.

Maid of honor was Laura Wagner. Best man was Billy Lown. Bridesmaids were Kristen Kalnasi, Samantha Kalasek and Brittany Harman. Groomsmen were Benjamin Gray, Eric Allen and John Maynard. Flower girls were Kathryn Arndt, Sarah Hood and Victoria Venable. Ringbearer was Scott Rinke. Candlelighters were Jacob Hood and Kaitlin Jorgensen. A reception was given at Marriott Spring Hill Suites in downtown Lawrence.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Free State High School and earned a bachelor’s of degree in dance from Kansas University in 2008. She is employed by Ann Taylor and is a substitute dance teacher at Parker Dance Academy.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of FSHS. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business-accounting in 2008 and a master’s degree in accounting in 2009, both from KU. He is employed by EKS&H, a public accounting firm in Denver.
