Francis & Mary Ann Thomas

Francis and Mary Ann Thomas celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on December 27, 2019. They were married at First Baptist Church of Richland, Missouri on December 27, 1969. The couple made their home in Lawrence, Kansas, where Francis was a professor of Civil Engineering for more than 40 years. Both Francis and Mary Ann have been involved in many community and church activities during their years in Lawrence. Their family has been blessed by their love and commitment: daughters Alica Thomas and Jessica (Nathan) Fortner, and grandchildren Eliza Mae (deceased), Joshua, Elliot, and Amelia Fortner.
