Marcel and Jennifer Templet
Jennifer Sharpe and Marcel Templet were married June 9, 2007, at the Lumber Baron Inn and Gardens in Denver, with Michael Dunlap officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Randy and Rita Sharpe, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Philip Templet Sr., Richardson, Texas, and Laura Templet, Fort Collins, Colo.
The maid of honor was Abigail Sharpe and the best man was Philip Templet Jr. Courtenay Greenleaf was the bridesmaid, and ushers were Adam Vance, Zack DiLeo, Lee Quinton, Chris Kavanaugh and Dimitri Kelly.
A dinner reception and dance followed at the Lumber Baron Inn and Gardens.
Jennifer is a 1999 graduate of Free State High School and is studying communication design at the Metropolitan State College of Denver. Marcel graduated from Jesuit High School in New Orleans in 1995 and attended Texas A&M University. He is employed at the Capital Grille.
The couple reside in Denver.

Lisa Gilliland and Eric Marx were married May 26, 2007, at Osborne Chapel at Baker University, with Judge Paula Martin officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Ron and Debbie O'Connor, Baldwin City; and Mike and Patty Gilliland, Osage City.
The groom is the son of Kelly and Lalith Lokanadi, Lawrence; and Robert Marx, Leavenworth.
The maid of honor was Laura Gilliland. The best man was Sam McCall. The bridesmaids were Rachel Wiggins and Molly Englebrake. The groomsmen were Michael Ray and Jarad Christian. Ring bearer was Tanner O'Connor. Pianist was Esther Harold.
A reception was given at the Knights of Columbus in Lawrence.
Lisa graduated from Baldwin High School and Kansas University. She is employed by DCCCA Inc. in Lawrence.
Eric graduated from Baldwin High School. He is employed by the Lawrence school district.
The couple reside in Eudora.

Desiree Howard and Michael Moore Jr. were married July 7, 2007, at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds, with Judge Jack Murphy officiating.
The bride is the daughter of John Howard Jr., Kansas City, Mo., and Kathy Dagg-Howard, Lenexa. The groom is the son of Michael Sr. and Roberta Moore, Lawrence.
The maid of honor was Michelle Howard. The best man was Matt Moore. Bridesmaids were Sharvest Brown, Roxanne Howard and Lisa Howard. Groomsmen were Mackenzie Moore, Mike Althouse and Chris Bosch.
The flower girls were Mikayla Howard and Elizabeth Schlotzhauer. The ring bearer was Christopher Howard.
A reception was given in Building No. 21 at the fairgrounds.
The couple reside in Lawrence.

Jack and Faith Greenwood
Jack and Faith Greenwood, Lawrence, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colo., with their children and spouses.
They were married June 30, 1957, in Topeka.
They graduated from Topeka High School and Washburn University. Before moving to Lawrence in 1987, Jack served as president and chief executive officer of the Topeka Savings Association for more than 20 years.
In Lawrence, Jack was associated with the Kansas University Endowment Association, and Faith was special events coordinator for the Adams Alumni Center. From 1995 to 2000, Jack worked with Arizona State University, and Faith was employed by a Fortune 500 corporation until they moved back to Lawrence in 2001.
Since 2000, Jack has been associated with two national fundraising firms as an independent contractor working with nonprofit organizations.
Their children are Brad and Lisa Greenwood, Lawrence; David and Meredith Greenwood, Overland Park; Trish and Lenny Beck, Topeka; and John and Carrie Greenwood, Denver. They have nine grandchildren.
The couple request no gifts.

Ken and Dotti Olson, Lawrence, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner party June 6 at Bambino's Italian Cafe. A reception hosted by Oscar and Mabel Olson also was given at the Castle Tea Room.
They were married June 6, 1957, at Danforth Chapel at Kansas University. Ken and Dotti are lifetime Lawrence residents and met at Lawrence High School.
Their children are Eric Olson, Phoenix, and Brenda Kappelman, Lawrence. They have four grandchildren.

Joseph and Betty Simunac
Joseph and Betty Simunac, Baldwin City, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. today at Harter Union at Baker University.
Joseph Simunac Jr. and Betty Sharpe were married July 20, 1942, in Ottawa. They met while attending Baker University.
Joe served in the U.S. Air Force and retired in 1969. They have lived in Baldwin City since then.
Their children are Joe and Kristin Simunac, Dover, N.H.; and Bob and Emily Honse, Lawrence.
They have four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The bride is the daughter of Tiburcio Joe and Cathy Reyes, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Terry Myers, Festus, Mo., and Judy Smith, Overland Park.
The maid of honor was Liberty Beauchamp. The best man was Tony Wiley. Bridesmaids were Raquel McLean, Nicole Attebery, Camille Romero, Jamie DeVore, Lisa Minnis, Sarah Prosser and Sarah McGee.
Groomsmen were Adrian Garcia, Ryan Basel, Jeff Brown, Scott Kitsmiller, John McLean III, Tiburcio Joe Reyes II and Tiburcio Joe Reyes III.
Ring bearer was Willie Dotson. Flower girl was Jordyn Garcia. Ushers were Ramon Garcia, Tony Garcia and John McLean IV. The guest book attendant was Jessica Bryant. The program attendant was Monique Murgua.
A reception was given at Steve's Place in Lawrence.
Jennifer graduated from Free State High School and Kansas University. She is an accountant for KU.
Joshua graduated from Lawrence High School. He is employed by Commerce Bank.

The future groom is a 1996 graduate of William J. Palmer High School in Colorado Springs. He received a Bachelor of Arts in American history from Kansas University and is employed as a data integrity specialist at the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America in Lawrence.
