Letter: Signs of mental deterioration in the White House
To the editor:
It’s my observation that the President Donald J. Trump has mentally deteriorated, despite his claims to the he contrary.
The signs are obvious. Trump’s inability to complete and express thoughts is alarming. When asked a simple question, he offers an analogy lacking relevance to the question. He will spend several minutes describing a ballpoint pen.
In response to news of a former FBI director and dedicated patriot Robert Mueller, Trump rejoiced. “Good. I’m glad he’s dead.” He posted on social media. How degrading and insensitive to the Mueller family!
Trump claimed an “emanate threat” from Iran without a shred of evidence. Trump announced that the war with Iran is over and won by the U.S., as he sends more troops to war.
He’s unfazed about spending well over a billion dollars a day of unauthorized taxpayer money and launching a fabricated global oil shortage for his unjustified war.
Trump openly hates anyone that disagrees with him. He, and those obedient, will brand anyone a member of the “radical left, urban terrorist, communist (whatever that means?), and devoid of American values.”
Someone afflicted with advanced dementia or its big brother, Alzheimer’s disease, when faced with anything that disrupts their status quo, will deny, lie, dodge, or convolute the facts. President Donald J. Trump clearly fits the description.
Trump is too deranged to be the most powerful person on earth. Vote to rein him in. There’s nothing he won’t do to preserve himself.
