Letter to the editor: Kansans want more Medicaid
To the editor:
As a social worker and a Kansan, I support KanCare expansion. Expanding our state’s Medicaid program would protect and strengthen Kansas hospitals, improve public health and ultimately save lives. Moreover, nearly 8 in 10 Kansans support KanCare expansion. Legislative leaders are ignoring their constituents and colleagues by refusing to hold a hearing on expansion.
The people of Kansas want KanCare expansion. Why won’t the Legislature talk about it?
