The Kansas Department of Transportation has scheduled temporary closures on Kansas Highway 10 near the Yankee Tank Creek bridge in Lawrence for maintenance work.

Conditions permitting, the following will occur on Tuesday:

• From 9 to 11 a.m., eastbound K-10 will be closed at Clinton Parkway, where traffic will be directed east to U.S. 59/Iowa Street, then south to K-10.

• From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., westbound K-10 will be closed at U.S. 59/Iowa Street, where traffic will be directed north to Clinton Parkway, then west to K-10.

Motorists should plan for delays and allow extra time for travel, KDOT said in a release.
