Candidates for Douglas County district attorney to participate in online forum

The three candidates for district attorney will participate in an online forum beginning at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Newcomers Cooper Overstreet and Suzanne Valdez and incumbent DA Charles Branson have all filed as Democrats. No Republicans have filed, so the next DA will likely be chosen in the primary.

RSVP to receive information to join the Zoom webinar and watch the forum live by visiting douglascountydems.org. The event will also be recorded and made available to the public, according to the party’s website.

The forum is hosted by Douglas County Democrats.
