Kansas University has announced Vicki Palmer and Samantha Montague as the March 2015 Employees of the Month. Palmer is an administrative associate senior for the School of Law and Montague is an education program coordinator for the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences.

Tabatha Mills has been named the News Director of WOW! 6 News. Mills was first hired with the company in September 2013 as lead anchor and reporter. She is a native of Bakersfield, California, and a graduate fo California Polytechnic State University.

The Lawrence Chamber of Commerce has announced Noodles and Company, 8 W. Eighth St., as the newest member of the organization.

Adam Handshy of the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce was one of 85 students from six states in attendance at the 27th annual Heartland Economic Development Course in April at Blue Springs, Missouri. The course teaches students different economic development strategies to implement in their respective communities.

Lanthrop and Gage attorneys will host a legal luncheon Thursday at the Bioscience & Technology Business Center, 2029 Becker Dr. The luncheon will address legal issues at every step of the startup lifecycle.
