Stop Day tour explores KU campus

Kansas University professor emeritus Ted Johnson will lead a Stop Day walking tour of campus from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday.

“Perspectives on the Monuments of Mount Oread” will include discussion growing out of the various sites visited. The tour begins in front of the Natural History Museum at 9 a.m.

The first program is “Whoso findeth wisdom findeth life,” an inquiry into the interpretations of Romanesque Revival architecture and iconography of Spooner Hall and the Museum of Natural History. The tour also will include stops at Lippincott Hall, Twente Hall, the Prairie Acre, among other sites.
