Barack Obama’s presidential campaign opened its Lawrence office Tuesday evening with an open house at 925 Iowa, Suite L.

The office will serve as headquarters for Lawrence field operations for the campaign of the Democratic senator from Illinois.

Lawrence attorney Dan Watkins, a senior adviser to the Kansas campaign, played host, and the campaign introduced Kansas Caucus Director Mitch Wallace.
