Weather-related closings and delays for Friday, Feb. 18:

• Lawrence Public Schools USD 497 has canceled classes, but district spokesperson Julie Boyle said in a news release that other activities could be held “at the discretion of the school administration.” Boyle told the Journal-World that Friday’s girls and boys basketball games between Lawrence High School and Free State High School would go on as scheduled.

• The University of Kansas will delay opening its Lawrence, Edwards and Leavenworth campuses on Friday by one hour. Campuses will open at 9 a.m. All classes, whether in-person or online, that begin before 9 a.m. will be canceled. All classes scheduled for 9 a.m. or later will be held as scheduled.

• Eudora Public Schools USD 491 has canceled classes. A decision about the Friday evening basketball games will be made by noon.

• Bishop Seabury Academy has canceled classes.

• Oskaloosa Public Schools USD 341 has canceled classes.

• Raintree Montessori School will be closed.
