Brownback to speak at Republican National Convention

Most of the discussion today in Kansas political circles is centered on Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama's selection of a vice presidential nominee because a certain governor [is apparently in the mix.][1]Gov. Kathleen Sebelius is also slated to speak at next week's Democratic National Convention in Denver. Announced today though, another Kansas politician will get some stage time in front of a convention audience.Sen. Sam Brownback, a major supporter of presumptive GOP nominee Sen. John McCain, [will speak Sept. 4 on stage][2] the same night McCain will deliver his acceptance speech. The Republican National Convention is Sept. 1 through Sept. 4 in Minneapolis.
