Lawrence man in custody after car chase; officers find pipe bomb in vehicle
Hopefully this is the same person who is setting all the fires in apartment complex laundries...and they stop him. My dad lived at Boardwalk when that crazy guy killed those people.

City mulls on-call T bus service
This is an interesting idea. I think it is well worth the money to see what the need is and how we can increase mobility around town after 8PM. It would've been nicer to have it around all summer, but it is smart investments like this that make me proud of Lawrence. It may sound like a lot of money, but if enough people use it...it should pay for itself in increased GDP of Lawrence. I don't ride the bus a lot, but when I do...it is far from "EmpT."

Driver attacked, robbed during delivery
This is Kent's brother.First of all thier lucky he didn't get thier wallets. Second, he didn't have time to draw a weapon if he did it would've been a different outcome, it almost was and he was bum-rushed. Third, he really just wants his wallet back. So, if anyone sees a wallet, any wallet return it to the rightful owner. Fourth, he's mad about the wallet but at least they didn't get his rug. Dude.

Missing cookies
I think some of you "make her a cookie" people are missing the point. Maybe you guys don't deserve a cookie. One cookie a week at lunch is not going to balloon any kid up. Recently at a healthy eating in school meeting they served cookies and donuts. That's unhealthy.

Embassies torched over caricatures
I feel a caricature of Mohamed is far less offensive than burning my flag in the streets of thier capital or calling for the death of Americans and the people of Denmark.
